AIPGDET- All India Post Graduate Dental Entrance Test is a national level, paper-based entrance test directed by DY Patil Vidyapeeth Pune (Deemed University) for Admission to Dental Programmes at Dr. D. Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, Pimpri, Pune.

Eligibility for Dr. D. Y. Patil University Pune AIPGDET 2017:-
 
• Nationality:- Indian nationality with a proof in the form of nationality certificate/valid passport. 
• Educational Qualification: 
a) Qualified final BDS examination from an Indian Medical Council recognized medical college in India. 
b)  Should have obtained registration either from the MCI or from authorized State Medical Council after completing one-year compulsory rotating internship. 
c) Should have completed one-year of compulsory rotating internship by March 31, 2014.

The brochures car be obtained

(a) from the Vidyapeeth Office on payment of Rs. 1500/- in cash or D. D. from 1st October 2015 onwards OR

(b) (if required by post) through a requisition letter (specifying the brochure required) along with a demand araft of Rs. 1750/- drawn on any nationalized bank, in favour of "Registrar, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune" payable at Pune OR

(c) By downloading the application form from the Vidyapeeth Website (www.dpu.edu.in), an Application form, duly filled in, along with a demand draft of Rs. 3,750/- (covering Form Fee + Test Fee + Postage) should reach the Vidyapeeth office before the last date of submission of form.

Dr. D. Y. Patil University Pune AIPGDET 2017 Paper Pattern:- 
 
The Examination medium will be English.
 
AIPGDET 2015 paper will be of one and half hours duration, containing 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Questions will be single best response objective type with four choices. Each correct response will be awarded one mark. There will be no negative marking for wrong answer. Scratching, overwriting and multiple answers will be considered as wrong answers. You need to darken the circle corresponding to correct response by blue/black ball point pen or 2B Pencil.
 
The Entrance Test will be based on the Syllabus of the BDS Examination and will cover all the subjects of the BDS Course. The tentative number of questions of each subject will be as below:
